It also recognized the widespread barriers that least devel- oped countries face in making these investments, and in creating new opportunities and ensuring that they reach everyone.' The Mid-Term Review of the Istanbul Programme of Action in 2016 drew renewed attention to these issues, especially in light of global commitments in the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. The following report was prepared for a ministerial pre-conference forum held in the lead up to the Mid- Term Review. Entitled Building Quality Human Capital for Economic Transformation and Sustain- able Development in the context of the Istanbul Programme of Action, the forum was co- -sponsored y UNFPA with the Governments of Bangladesh and Turkey, and the Office of the High Representative for Least Developed Countries, L andlocked Developing Countries and Small Island Developing States. 【更多详情,请下载:人口基金基金会未来报告:未来的基础】
